The Anchor stands proudly in the heart of Kippford, the unspoilt coastal village known as the Solway Riviera. For generations, our doors have been open to travellers, sailors, dog walkers and locals — all looking for the same thing: good food, good company, and a warm fire on a Scottish evening.
From our Snug Bar with its open fire to our restaurant serving fresh local seafood and traditional pub favourites, every corner of The Anchor tells a story. Our en-suite bedrooms, all with views over Urr Water, await those who'd like to wake up to the sound of the estuary.
